What you'll do
Book keeping
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes for the EU entity.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and financial KPIs.
- Coordinate with group finance on consolidation and intercompany transactions.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- ensures compliance with EU company law, accounting standards, and reporting obligations.
- Coordinate statutory filings, annual returns, and corporate secretarial matters (if needed).
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and tax, ideally within an EU jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP
Skills & Competencies:
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a multinational or cross-border environment.
- Prior involvement in EU statutory audits inspections.
