Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver official, instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (VILT) for the following Splunk courses:
- Splunk Enterprise Data Administration,
- Splunk Enterprise System Administration,
- Splunk Cloud Administration
- Ensure a high-quality learning experience by providing expert-level instruction, hands-on lab guidance, and real-world insights.
- Maintain and update personal technical expertise and instructional skills to remain current with the latest Splunk product releases and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with the global training team to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of course delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert, answering complex technical questions and mentoring students.
Essential Qualifications
- Priority Requirement: Minimum of 10 years of IT training/teaching experience in a professional environment, OR current, valid certification as a Splunk Certified Instructor (SCI for Splunk).
- Technical Expertise: Proven, deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Splunk's platform and products.
- Certification: Must hold or be able to rapidly achieve the following current Splunk certifications:
- Splunk Enterprise Data Administration
- Splunk Enterprise System Administration
- Splunk Cloud Administration
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
